The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toosh with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lopez counters with a right hand to the body.
Lopez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Donk. Lopez catches Toosh right on the button with a cross.
Lopez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Toosh dodges the punch combination from Lopez.
Lopez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Toosh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopez pinned against the cage. Lopez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lopez looks to land a combination but Toosh avoids it well.
Toosh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gene Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aloe Toosh.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lopez. Toosh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lopez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Toosh under the eye.

and Lopez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lopez stuns Toosh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Toosh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Toosh has his takedown stuffed
and Lopez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lopez tries to bum rush Toosh with a series of wild strikes but Toosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Aloe Toosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Toosh is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lopez is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Toosh.

Lopez lands a left and a right that send Toosh crashing to the mat, dazed. Lopez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Toosh is rocked!

It looks like Aloe Toosh has been cut.
Lopez catches Toosh with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Toosh forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
