Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Longface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longface is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All That Remains-This Calling. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Curtis Longface enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Longface.
Belt looks to land a combination but Longface avoids it well.
Belt throws a shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Belt. No joy for Longface on that attempt.
Belt throws a hook but Longface avoids it easily.
No joy there for Belt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Longface is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Belt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Longface is working for a guillotine from mount but Belt frees his head quite easily.

Longface is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Belt is surviving well by controlling Longface's body position as best he can.

Horrible takedown by Longface or perhaps it was just good defense by Belt which made him look bad.
Black Belt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Longface.

Longface is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belt defends it well.

Longface closes the distance and clinches up with Belt, looking for a takedown. Longface pushes Belt against the cage but Belt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Belt throws a lazy right hand but Longface sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Belt misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Longface decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Belt's guard.
Longface postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Longface shoots in for a double leg but Belt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Belt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
