The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grzeszczykowski missing with a left hand there. Punch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Punch defending well as Grzeszczykowski loads up on a big left hand. Punch misses with a hook to the body
and Grzeszczykowski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Grzeszczykowski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Grzeszczykowski lands in his opponent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Grzeszczykowski trying to control but Punch is working from the bottom. Grzeszczykowski not doing a lot at the moment. Punch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grzeszczykowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Grzeszczykowski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Punch doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grzeszczykowski. Punch wants to take the fight to the mat but Grzeszczykowski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Grzeszczykowski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Przemyslaw Grzeszczykowski. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grzeszczykowski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
