Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Foul Play (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Play has chosen Simon Says-Pharaohe Monche as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Foul Play was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

dos Santos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

dos Santos throws a punch but it's blocked by Play.
Play doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
dos Santos lands with a short head shot on the inside.
dos Santos is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Play is defending well.
Play wants to get back to striking at distance but dos Santos won't allow it.

Play tries to throw a body punch but dos Santos avoids it by throwing Play back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Play missing with a left hand there. dos Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Play takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Play keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Play fakes high and swings low for a body shot but dos Santos manages to avoid it.
dos Santos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Play's hands.
Play is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by dos Santos.
dos Santos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Play is out of range.
dos Santos misses with a double jab.
A punch combination from Play misses.

dos Santos rushes Play and presses him up against the cage.
dos Santos lands a right hand that snaps the head of Play backwards.
dos Santos swings away with an uppercut that misses.

dos Santos has hold of one of Play's legs. Play is fighting the takedown attempt but dos Santos gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

dos Santos throws a strike but Play rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
dos Santos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
dos Santos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Play!

A big strike lands for dos Santos! That's really hurt Play and he's turned his back - dos Santos keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! dos Santos jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
