Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Biscuits & Gravy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Kick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bubba James! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. James goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kick prevents it.
James takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Bubba James has been cut. James works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kick avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kick wants to stand but James is controlling the position. James's corner is telling him to maintain position. James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. James slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. James drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kick looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kick! James gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. James moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. James controlling Kick's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bubba James hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. James fails to land with a series of punches.
James forces Kick back against the cage and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kick lands a nice elbow. Kick using the Thai plumb to throw knees but James has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
James pulls guard. James keeping moving, preventing Kick from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if James can do anything to dispel that myth. Kick won't allow James to sweep him here.
Kyle Kick has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. James misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. James drives through with a takedown into Kick's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kick trying to control the position.
James lands a couple of digs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kick has momentary wrist control but James slips an elbow through the middle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kick working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from James. James working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. James sitting in guard here, content to control. Kick can't keep his opponent in guard - James advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kick pushes James off looking to stand but James dives back in and keeps control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba James dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bubba James's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
James keeps the fight on the outside. James misses with a wild body shot. Kick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kick moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - Kick looks like he's thinking about clinching though. James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kick's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kick! James takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is in the full mount, landing strikes. James postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kick looks a forlorn figure.
James connects with a bit shot that sees Kick covering up! More strikes from James and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! James is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bubba James!
