Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henry Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keygo Atobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Ortiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keygo Atobe!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atobe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ortiz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Atobe somewhat.
Atobe fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away.
Ortiz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Atobe pushes Ortiz up against the cage in a clinch.
Atobe blocking some punches.
Atobe is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ortiz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Henry Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keygo Atobe.

Atobe jumps guard and drags Ortiz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ortiz stopping the sweep attempt from Atobe.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Atobe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ortiz's guard.
Atobe looking to sit in guard and control but Ortiz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Atobe is on top in guard.
Atobe trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortiz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ortiz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Ortiz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Atobe defends it well.

Atobe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ortiz pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Atobe wants to control but Ortiz passes into side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Keygo Atobe will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Ortiz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ortiz is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Ortiz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Atobe is trying to maintain the position but Ortiz is very close to passing his half guard.

Ortiz trying to control from half guard but Atobe is working away.
Atobe wants to get back to full guard.
Ortiz is looking to stall here but Atobe recovers full guard.

Atobe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Atobe keeping moving, preventing Ortiz from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Henry Ortiz.
Atobe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ortiz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Atobe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ortiz but Ortiz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Atobe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ortiz fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Atobe tries to roll over but Ortiz keeps him under control.

Henry Ortiz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Atobe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Atobe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there.

Henry Ortiz dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Atobe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ortiz sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortiz tries to roll over but Atobe keeps him under control.
Ortiz keeping hold of Atobe's head, controlling as best he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Atobe is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Ortiz to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Atobe trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortiz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Atobe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Atobe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ortiz keeping moving, preventing Atobe from controlling successfully.
Atobe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Atobe pushes down on Ortiz's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Ortiz preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Atobe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ortiz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Keygo Atobe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Atobe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
