Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Honeycutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiser Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honeycutt comes to the cage accompanied by Riot- 2 Chainz. Sosa has chosen Fantasy as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Honeycutt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kiser Sosa! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa thows a left - swing and a miss! Sosa works the jab nicely. Honeycutt gets a clinch. Sosa is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Honeycutt is keeping busy. Sosa taking a breather. Sosa trying to control the position but instead, Honeycutt has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sosa into the cage. Honeycutt has Sosa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Honeycutt pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sosa tumbling to the mat - Honeycutt dives into Sosa's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Honeycutt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sosa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Honeycutt has Sosa in his guard. Sosa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Honeycutt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Honeycutt has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Honeycutt looking to sit in guard and control but Sosa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Honeycutt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Honeycutt tries to get out of the position. Sosa throwing strikes but missing. Sosa has gone for a leg lock! Honeycutt slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sosa's guard. Sosa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Honeycutt defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honeycutt postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sosa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Honeycutt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Honeycutt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Honeycutt stands and steps away. Sosa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kiser Sosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sosa's jab looks to have found its range, popping Honeycutt under the eye. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Honeycutt tries a head kick but it misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sosa lands a head shot. Sosa lands with a nice body punch. Sosa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Honeycutt. Sosa throws a shot from downtown. Honeycutt moves away and avoids it. Sosa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Honeycutt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Honeycutt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Honeycutt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Honeycutt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sosa. A slow jab from Sosa misses its intended target. Honeycutt thows a body shot but no joy. Honeycutt tries to score with a low kick but Sosa moves his leg out of the way. Honeycutt moves out of range of the body kick from Sosa.
Honeycutt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sosa to score with a decent uppercut. Sosa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Honeycutt slips under a jab from Sosa. Honeycutt steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sosa.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sosa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Honeycutt. A punch combination from Honeycutt misses. Honeycutt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sosa. Sosa might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Sosa lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Honeycutt throws a low kick, looking for Sosa's leg but Sosa calmly moves out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick misses from Sosa. Sosa throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Honeycutt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sosa. Honeycutt takes the fight into the clinch. Honeycutt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sosa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Honeycutt takes a knee to the side of the body. Honeycutt is breathing heavily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sosa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Honeycutt is defending well for now. Honeycutt can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kiser Sosa will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Honeycutt closes the distance and pushes Sosa back into the cage. Sosa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Honeycutt.
Sosa tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Honeycutt pulls guard. Honeycutt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sosa passes Honeycutt's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Honeycutt is not content to let Sosa control the position. Sosa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sosa throws a strike but Honeycutt avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sosa wants to control from the top but Honeycutt keeps moving. Sosa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Honeycutt is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sosa preventing the sweep. Sosa slips nicely into half guard. Honeycutt trying to control here.
Sosa is trying to control. Honeycutt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sosa trying to pass the guard but Honeycutt defending well. Sosa not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Honeycutt is refusing to be controlled, as Sosa sits in half guard. Honeycutt is trying to stand up here but Sosa is controlling him well.

Sosa is looking for a kimura but Honeycutt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sosa to get the leverage. Sosa wants to free his trapped foot but Honeycutt is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are battling for position here. Honeycutt manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sosa trying to control the position from guard on top but Honeycutt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sosa advances to half guard. Honeycutt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Honeycutt is working hard here to advance position. Honeycutt avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sosa. Honeycutt trying to hold on to Sosa's head to control him but Sosa postures up.
Sosa is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sosa wants to free his trapped foot but Honeycutt is holding on for dear life with his legs. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sosa seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Honeycutt is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kiser Sosa! After winning the bout, Kiser Sosa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
