Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darwin France (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okamoto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Feel the Drive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hiroyuki Okamoto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darwin France!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamoto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Okamoto scores with a nice head shot.
France closes the distance and clinches up with Okamoto, looking for a takedown. France pushes Okamoto against the cage but Okamoto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Okamoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
France really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
France wants to control the pace but Okamoto is squirming around nicely.

France drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Okamoto is looking to stand up but France isn't so interested in that idea.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Okamoto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
France trying to control the position from guard on top but Okamoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Darwin France just wasn't active enough.

Okamoto fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Okamoto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and France has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Okamoto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from France.

Okamoto feints and then cracks France's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow France down.

Okamoto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hiroyuki Okamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee asks France politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. France prefers to stall for the moment though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Darwin France.
Okamoto tries to land a front kick but France steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

France shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Okamoto sprawls well. Okamoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. France gets slowly back to his feet.

Hiroyuki Okamoto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! France's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Okamoto creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

France wants to get back to striking at distance but Okamoto won't allow it.

Okamoto throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but France blocks it with crossed arms.
Hiroyuki Okamoto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Okamoto keeps control of France as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Okamoto will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning France up against the cage.
Okamoto receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

I've got Okamoto winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
