Lima shoots in and drives through. OQuinn sprawls well.
Lima with a poor takedown
and OQuinn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lima's guard.

OQuinn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lima is still in real trouble! Can OQuinn finish him?
OQuinn wants to pass the guard but Lima is keeping the position.
OQuinn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Lima had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. OQuinn defends it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lima with a lazy takedown attempt
and OQuinn goes for a counter takedown and lands it with interest - it's knocked his opponent senseless! It looks like OQuinn 's shoulder did the damage as the two fighters hit the mat.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Damien OQuinn!
Damien OQuinn looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'of course i won'.
