The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson connects with a single shot there.
Dillard fails with a takedown attempt.
Dillard looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well.
Jackson lands a slapping body shot.
Dillard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dillard gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Dillard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dillard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dillard off to one side.

Dillard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Trinidad Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dillard needs to keep his hands up - Jackson had a free shot at his head there.
Jackson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dillard.


Dillard is rocked!
Trinidad Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson thuds a left hand into Dillard's body.

Jackson drops Dillard with a beautiful combination! Dillard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jackson is looking for the KO!
Oh Dillard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
