Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zero Wait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zero Wait! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fernando Araujo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wait swings for the body but Araujo moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Araujo as Wait shoots in. Araujo looks for a takedown but Wait sprawls well. Wait shoots for a double leg takedown but Araujo sprawls well. He's pushed Wait's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Araujo misses with a takedown attempt - Wait sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wait fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zero Wait. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wait shoots in and drives through. Araujo sprawls well. Wait closes the distance and clinches up with Araujo, looking for a takedown. Wait pushes Araujo against the cage but Araujo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Araujo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Araujo swats away the attempt to clinch by Wait. Araujo shoots in looking for a takedown but Wait manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Araujo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Araujo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wait as he jumps to the side. Wait stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wait wants it to stay on the feet. Araujo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wait looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wait fails in his attempt to clinch. Wait keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wait shoots in for a double leg but Araujo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wait is breathing heavily. Wait wants to clinch but Araujo slips to the side and Araujo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Araujo advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wait is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Wait is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Araujo not doing much here.
Wait is looking to control Araujo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wait avoid being mounted? Wait is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Araujo is looking to take a break and control but Wait is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wait knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Araujo on the ground. Wait slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Araujo won't allow Wait to get back to his feet. Araujo looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wait keeping moving, preventing Araujo from controlling successfully. Araujo wants to get up but he can't break Wait's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Araujo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wait is keeping the position for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Araujo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Fernando Araujo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Araujo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wait sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fernando Araujo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Wait with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wait closes the distance and pushes Araujo back into the cage. Araujo wants a takedown but no success here.
Wait tries to land knees in the clinch but Araujo avoids the damage to the body. Wait jumps guard.

Wait can't keep his opponent in guard - Araujo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Araujo is looking to stall here but Wait recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wait pulls Araujo in close to prevent any damage. Araujo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Araujo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wait is keeping the position for now. Fernando Araujo has got the better of the ground game so far. Araujo trying to control the position from guard on top but Wait is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wait is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Araujo dives into side control.
Araujo advances nicely into full mount. Araujo looking to control but Wait is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wait has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Wait defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wait staying busy and making it hard for Araujo to control. Wait trying to control the position but Araujo manages to sink in the hooks. Araujo is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Wait is tapping out! This one is all over!
