The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Michal back to the cage. Boy follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Michal takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fame Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Michal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boy sprawls well. Boy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Michal gets slowly back to his feet.

Boy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Michal shoots in looking for a takedown but Boy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Michal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Michal momentarily.

Michal shoots in looking for a takedown. Boy tries to sprawl out of it but Michal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Boy looks to land a combination but Michal avoids it well.

Michal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boy to the mat! Boy manages to get full guard.
Boy keeping moving, preventing Michal from controlling successfully.
Michal pushes down on Boy's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy is trying to get back to full guard.
Boy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Michal is working away from the top position though.
Michal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Boy is breathing heavily.

Michal is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Boy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Michal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Michal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Boy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
