Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Papa Smurf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Denes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smurf comes to the cage accompanied by Ante Up. Papa Smurf is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smurf's half guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Denes shoots in looking for a takedown. Smurf tries to sprawl out of it but Denes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smurf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Denes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Smurf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Denes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Denes's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Papa Smurf.
Smurf connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Smurf throws a nice looking combination but Denes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smurf misses with a few strikes there.
Smurf lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Denes circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No luck for Denes with that takedown attempt.

and Smurf makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Papa Smurf will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Denes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smurf's waist but Smurf gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Denes off to one side.

Smurf throws a hook to the side of Denes's head but Denes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smurf scores with the left hand. Denes knows he should have avoided that one.
Smurf lands a really nice looking cross but Denes seems unphased.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Papa Smurf.
