Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Goodridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Zappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gary Goodridge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Zappa! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zappa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Goodridge to the mat! Goodridge manages to get full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Goodridge is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Goodridge wants to pass the guard but Zappa is defending well. Goodridge is looking for a kimura but Zappa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Goodridge to get the leverage. Goodridge is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Zappa sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zappa looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Goodridge seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zappa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zappa is trying to stand up here but Goodridge is controlling him well. Goodridge is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Goodridge will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Zappa is trying to stand up here but Goodridge is controlling him well. Zappa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Goodridge pulls his head out easily. Goodridge is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zappa is just riding it out for now. Goodridge eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zappa is looking for a sweep. Goodridge is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zappa looks like he's trying to stand up.
Goodridge looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Goodridge is keen to just control but Zappa is a slippery customer. Goodridge is looking for a kimura here.
Goodridge passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Zappa!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zappa tries to hold on but Goodridge pushes him away. Goodridge tries to control but Zappa wriggling away. Goodridge swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Zappa is now in Goodridge's guard. A big mistake from Goodridge there, giving up the dominant position! Zappa postures up.
Goodridge wants to sweep here but Zappa controlling him for the moment. Goodridge is trying to keep Zappa in close.
Goodridge bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zappa's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zappa pulls Goodridge in to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zappa wants to stand and escape but Goodridge is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goodridge wants to control from the top but Zappa keeps moving. Goodridge looking to pass the guard. Zappa is looking to stand up but Goodridge isn't so interested in that idea. Zappa working a defensive guard here.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Zappa wasn't active enough on the ground. Zappa scores with a takedown into Goodridge's guard. Zappa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Goodridge manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zappa wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goodridge trying to control but he's not successful this time. Goodridge wants to take Zappa's back here but Zappa is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Goodridge looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Zappa really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Zappa wants to hold on but Goodridge pushes him away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Goodridge wants to finish this one by submission but Zappa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Goodridge. Goodridge trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zappa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Goodridge. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Goodridge dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Zappa circles away from the clinch attempt and Zappa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Goodridge drives through with a takedown into guard. Zappa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Goodridge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Zappa is tightening it up a little... Goodridge has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Goodridge reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Goodridge taps out! Nice BJJ there by Zappa!
