Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Sakkinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucentus Darklance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakkinen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rotten Sound - Burden. Mikko Sakkinen is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakkinen tries to clinch but Darklance is having none of it.

Sakkinen pushes Darklance off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Darklance decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sakkinen's guard.

Darklance is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucentus Darklance hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sakkinen enables Darklance to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sakkinen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Darklance is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sakkinen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Darklance goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sakkinen turns into him and now he's in Darklance's guard.
