Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Bensin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Handles Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mcgee's choice of entrance music: Otis by: Jay-Z f. Kanye West . Alvin Bensin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Handles Mcgee's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Handles Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensin scores with a kick to the body.
Bensin misses with the combination.
Bensin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mcgee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bensin lands a jab to the head.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bensin but Bensin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Mcgee with that takedown attempt.

Bensin lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Mcgee sprawling to the canvas. Bensin follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Mcgee hang on?


It looks like Handles Mcgee has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bensin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bensin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Mcgee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Mcgee looking for submissions off his back.
Bensin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bensin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bensin prevents Mcgee from improving his position.
Mcgee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bensin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bensin's back!

Mcgee is looking for the choke from the back position but Bensin is controlling his hands well.

Bensin wants to control his opponent's hands but Mcgee gets his hands free.
Bensin really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Mcgee's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcgee is looking for the choke from the back position but Bensin is controlling his hands well.

Mcgee looking to break Bensin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bensin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mcgee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Mcgee doesn't have the hooks in and Bensin manages to turn into his guard.

Mcgee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bensin defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mcgee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mcgee keeping moving, preventing Bensin from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bensin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mcgee controlling the position.

Mcgee looking for a guillotine here but Bensin defends easily.

Bensin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mcgee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bensin has managed to get both his arms back between Mcgee's legs - danger averted.
Bensin wanted to stand there but Mcgee had control of the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bensin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mcgee, up you get!

and Mcgee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Mcgee counters with a shoot takedown. Bensin fights it but they end up in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alvin Bensin will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Handles Mcgee's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bensin lands a nice shot to the body.
Bensin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bensin connects with the punch.
Bensin scores with a punch to the head.
Alvin Bensin is winning the standup battle so far.
Bensin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bensin throws a right hand that Mcgee ducks under and follows up with a left that Mcgee also avoids with ease.
Mcgee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bensin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mcgee scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mcgee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bensin tries to avoid it but Mcgee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bensin to the ground. Bensin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bensin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mcgee has time to react.
Bensin throws a right and a left that Mcgee avoids nicely.
Bensin lands an overhand right.


Mcgee is rocked!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mcgee.
Mcgee is still on wobbly legs! Can Bensin finish him?
Bensin throws a nice looking combination but Mcgee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mcgee seems to have recovered his senses.

Mcgee fails with the takedown.
Alvin Bensin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Handles Mcgee.

Mcgee is breathing heavily.
Bensin connects with a right hand. Mcgee shakes it off.
Bensin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mcgee doesn't seem bothered though.
Bensin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bensin bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Mcgee! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bensin won't allow Mcgee to get back to his feet.

Bensin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bensin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mcgee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bensin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mcgee thinking.
Bensin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bensin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mcgee has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bensin.
Bensin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mcgee tries to clinch but Bensin is having none of it.
Bensin throws a half hearted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bensin connects with a jab.
Bensin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Alvin Bensin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgee drops his hands for a split second and Bensin immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Mcgee face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Bensin follows up with a right hand that knocks Mcgee into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alvin Bensin!
As Alvin Bensin got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I want to make a shout out to the guys at MMA Animal! Great guys with good gear! Check them out'.
