Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franco Baresi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brow comes to the ring accompanied by Mos Def - I aginst I. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Brow.

Baresi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brow is fending him off so far but Baresi persists. Nope, Brow circles away and we're back to standing.
Baresi shoots in but Brow avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Baresi closes the distance and clinches up with Brow, looking for a takedown. Baresi pushes Brow against the ropes but Brow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brow feints and then cracks Baresi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Baresi down.

Good leg kick by Brow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Baresi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brow's waist but Brow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baresi off to one side.

Brow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Brow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brow is breathing heavily.

Brow throws a sloppy head kick and Baresi moves out of range easily.

Baresi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ground and pound from Baresi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Baresi swings around for an armbar but Brow sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Baresi's guard.
Baresi has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Brow has passed into side control.
Baresi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brow's best efforts.
Baresi wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Baresi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Baresi wants to sweep but no luck.

Baresi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Baresi is looking for a triangle but Brow pushes his legs off easily.

Baresi has his foot on Brow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brow works his way back into a safe position though.

Baresi is working an open guard so Brow takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Baresi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brow!

Brow decides to stand up, so the ref orders Baresi to his feet.
Brow is looking to land body kicks.
Brow throws a head kick that misses.
Brow throws a sloppy head kick and Baresi moves out of range easily.
Baresi fails with the takedown.
Baresi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Franco Baresi has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Baresi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brow to score with a decent uppercut.

Baresi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brow keeps working.

Baresi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baresi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Brow is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Baresi yanks on the arm and Brow is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Baresi.
