Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niltinho Machado!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jussila decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Machado has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jussila is working away from the top position though.
Machado might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jussila kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jussila passes into side control, despite Machado's attempt to control the position.
Machado takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Machado is trying to improve his position.
Machado looks to move to half guard but instead Jussila has passed into mount! Damn!
Jussila is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jussila has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Machado is working to get back to half guard.
Jussila working for a submission but Machado is keeping him at bay.
Machado can't escape the position.
A nice elbow there by Jussila.
Jussila is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Jussila throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Machado on the side of the head.

Jussila feints and as Machado raises his hands in defense, Jussila changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Machado looking to control but Jussila passes into half guard.
Machado looks gassed!
Jussila is trying to work for a kimura but Machado is defending well.
Jussila is looking to advance position but Machado won't allow it.
Machado is in trouble now - Jussila has advanced to mount!
Machado sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Machado is defending against the submission attempts here by Jussila.
Jussila is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Machado trying to control but Jussila postures up.
Machado is not content to let Jussila control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jussila in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Machado tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jussila!
