The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Spencer falls off balance throwing a combination

so Loid counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Loid stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Spencer is struggling to control the position.

Spencer breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Loid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spencer scores with a one two! Loid had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Loid doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Loid takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Spencer throws a right and a left that both miss.

Loid drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Spencer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Spencer manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Loid looks gassed!

Spencer has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Loid should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Spencer has tightened it up now! Loid should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
