Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Blyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle McDougall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blyer comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blyer loads up on a big right hand but McDougall slips the punch.
Blyer misses with a jab, cross combination.
McDougall takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Kyle McDougall has been cut.
Blyer throws a hook to the side of McDougall's head but McDougall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blyer throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab lands there for McDougall.

It looks like Rocky Blyer has been cut.
Left hook, right uppercut from McDougall.
McDougall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blyer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Blyer takes one on the button.
Blyer misses with the combination.
Blyer misses with a series of wild punches.
Blyer thows a body shot but no joy.

McDougall drops Blyer with a right and a left! McDougall comes rushing in but Blyer regains his composure and manages to keep McDougall in guard.

Blyer is rocked!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
McDougall controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Oh Blyer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blyer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McDougall is controlling him.
Blyer seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kyle McDougall.
McDougall closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Blyer misses with a straight left.
McDougall pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Blyer back to the cage. McDougall follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Blyer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Blyer looks to land a combination but McDougall avoids it well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Blyer. McDougall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Blyer walks into a stiff left hand from McDougall.
Blyer throws an overhand right that lands on McDougall's shoulder, as McDougall tries to avoid the shot.
Blyer throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McDougall counters with a stiff right hand.
Blyer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That has opened up Kyle McDougall's cut even more.
McDougall misses with a few strikes there.
Blyer throws a lazy right hand but McDougall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Blyer looks to land a left hand but McDougall moved out of range nicely.

Blyer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blyer there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blyer misses with a double jab.
Blyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDougall was well out of range. Poor timing from Blyer.
Blyer misses with the combination.
Blyer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McDougall tests Blyer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Blyer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

McDougall lands a head shot.
McDougall is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blyer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and McDougall counters with a series of strikes. Blyer will be more careful next time no doubt.

Rocky Blyer's cut is getting worse.
Blyer looks up at the clock. Bad move! McDougall lands a right hand from hell, dropping Blyer. McDougall pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
