Leite comes to the cage accompanied by Sou Foda. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Styles closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Styles displaying some good clinch control by pressing Leite up against the cage.
Leite is trying to push Styles away but Styles has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Styles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Styles throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A jab from Leite does it's job there.
It looks like Jay Styles has been cut.
Styles shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Styles showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
