The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gail misses with a left hand
and Peterson counters with a left to the body.
Gail manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peterson on his heels. He'll look to pass Peterson's guard now, I'm sure.
Peterson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gail doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Peterson is tightening it up a little... Gail has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gail reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gail taps out! Nice BJJ there by Peterson!

In his post fight interview, Kristian Peterson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
