And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philip Ian!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu throws a leg kick but Ian checks it.
Fatu is breathing heavily.
Ian tries to bum rush Fatu with a series of wild strikes but Fatu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A big left from Ian misses.
That kick from Fatu tenderised Ian's leg. Ian is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ian throws a right and a left that Fatu avoids nicely.

Ian scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Fatu to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Ian away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Fatu got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!


It looks like Filipo Fatu has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ian just misses with a punch to the body.
Ian fails to land with a series of punches.
Fatu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
No joy there for Ian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Ian does no damage.
Fatu scores with the left hand. Ian knows he should have avoided that one.
Ian throws a series of punches but Fatu avoids them all with ease.
Ian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Fatu.
Fatu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ian closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Fatu out cold! Fatu corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Philip Ian!
