Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasa Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Salcedo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sladkov's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Sasa Sladkov will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jose Salcedo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Sladkov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Salcedo sprawling to the canvas! Salcedo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sladkov finish him?!

It looks like Jose Salcedo has been cut.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sladkov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Sladkov cracks Salcedo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sladkov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Salcedo to stand back up!

Salcedo is rocked!
Salcedo glances at the clock... BAM! Sladkov nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Salcedo crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Salcedo is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
