Patterson comes to the cage accompanied by The Faint - Hospital. Vader has chosen Sweep the Leg as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader loads up on a big right hand but Patterson slips the punch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown. Vader tries to sprawl out of it but Patterson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vader manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
