Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spar Bjj!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjj with a poor takedown
and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Bjj fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva with a flurry of punches that miss.
Silva postures up in Bjj's guard and throws a big left but Bjj blocks it.
Bjj is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Bjj wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.

Bjj isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Silva stacks Bjj on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Silva!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bjj reaches up around Silva's neck trying to control. But Silva takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Bjj! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Bjj is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Silva celebrates the victory with the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Carlos Silva!
