Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sovann Seng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordan Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seng misses with a kick to the body.
Seng misses with a few strikes there.
Seng is looking to clinch.
Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Seng tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Seng manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Seng bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Jackson scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Seng defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jackson.
Seng is trying to escape the mount.
Jackson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Seng because Jackson loaded up on that one.
Seng working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Seng but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jackson misses with a head shot.
Seng is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Jackson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Seng because Jackson loaded up on that one.

Jackson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Seng keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jackson looking to ground and pound but Seng is blocking nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Seng tries to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Seng is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jackson looking to control but Seng is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Seng knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.
Seng is in all sorts of trouble here.

Jackson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jordan Jackson!
Jordan Jackson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
