Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sane has chosen Domination as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Rude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bret Sane!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Rude.
Rude goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Sane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sane lands in his opponent's guard.
Sane trying to control but Rude is working from the bottom.
Sane tries to free his leg and advance position but Rude is retaining full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rude keeping moving, preventing Sane from controlling successfully.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bret Sane wasn't active enough on the ground.
Sane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rude swivels and escapes.
Rude stalks Sane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sane's face. Sane staggers backwards, shaken.
Sane looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Rude with a nice cross.
Rude throws a series of punches but Sane avoids them all with ease.
Rude misses with a double jab.
Sane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rude throws a one two combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sane throws a nice looking combination but Rude bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A combination from Rude does no damage.
Sane wants to clinch up but Rude keeps it at a distance.
Sane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rude as he jumps to the side.
Rick Rude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Sane.
Sane looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rude tries to avoid it but Sane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rude to the ground. Rude escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sane takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rude looks to land a combination but Sane avoids it well.
Rude drops Sane with a beautiful combination! Sane stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rude is looking for the KO!
It looks like Bret Sane has been cut.
Rude misses with a series of wild punches.
Rick Rude is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sane slips a jab and a cross from Rude.

Danga de danga de dang - Rude scores with a four punch combination!
Rude is working the combinations to good effect here.
Rude feints a jab promting Sane to slip. Rude then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Sane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rude but Rude pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rude lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rude on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sane. Sane obviously looking to wear him down.
Danga de danga de dang - Rude scores with a four punch combination!
Sane tries to clinch up but Rude circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for Rude, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rude swinging wildly here.
Rude swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sane misses with a wild combination.
Rude lands a left and a right that send Sane crashing to the mat, dazed. Rude thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sane is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rude throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Sane stumbling backwards into the cage! Sane bounces back off the cage towards Rude, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Rude lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rude celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rick Rude!
