Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Vio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Barros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to everessence wake up. Barros has chosen Linhas Inimigas - Rashid as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vio shoots in looking for a takedown. Barros tries to sprawl out of it but Vio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barros manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vio stuffs the takedown attempt from Barros. Barros gets slowly back to his feet.
Vio has Barros up against the cage in a clinch.
Vio jumps guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Barros is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Vio manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Barros manages to get himself to full guard.

Barros looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Vio is defending well. Barros quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Vio has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Barros celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
