Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Dearborn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Cena!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cena tries to clinch up
and Dearborn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like John Cena has been cut.
Cena ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dearborn moves away.
Dearborn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dearborn, as that shot connected.
Dearborn with a hook.
Cena throws a series of punches but Dearborn moves out of range.
Cena has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dearborn.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dearborn stuffs the takedown.
Cena tries to clinch but Dearborn is having none of it.
Cena shoots in looking for a takedown but Dearborn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cena's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cena throws a head kick that misses
and Dearborn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dearborn.
Dearborn with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Will Dearborn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dearborn rushes Cena and presses him up against the cage.
Cena can't break the clinch.
Cena drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dearborn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Will Dearborn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Cena.
Still in the clinch, Dearborn scores with a nice short uppercut.
Dearborn lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short body shot lands from Dearborn as the two fighters clinch.
Cena wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dearborn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
John Cena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dearborn lands a nice looking body shot.
Cena looks gassed!
Dearborn lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dearborn scores with a jab. Cena acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dearborn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nice shot lands for Dearborn.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dearborn.
Dearborn drops Cena with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dearborn follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
