Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Jlo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Hummels!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jlo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hummels gets a takedown into half guard.
Hummels seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jlo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hummels is controlling the pace.
Jlo is looking for a sweep. Hummels is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hummels trying to pass the guard but Jlo defending well.
Jlo actively working from the bottom here.
Jlo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hummels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jlo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jlo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hummels doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hummels manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hummels cracks Jlo with a solid left hand.
Hummels keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jlo's head.
Hummels is stalling in the full guard.
Hummels with a nice head shot there.
Hummels has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jlo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hummels is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jlo pulls down on the head and he's put Hummels to sleep! This one is all over!
