PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevenson was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Stevenson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Stevenson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson motions for Stevenson to come forward. Jackson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stevenson shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jackson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stevenson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stevenson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Stevenson on that attempt.
Teddy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Stevenson.

Stevenson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stevenson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Stevenson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Stevenson works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stevenson is riding his opponent, not letting Jackson buck him off.

Stevenson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jackson's body.

Stevenson working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Jackson is doing well to defend. Stevenson seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Jackson is forced to tap and this one is over!
