Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Skrzypczak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nero comes into the arena with Lava Lava blaring out of the sound system. Skrzypczak has chosen Kasabian - Goodbye Kiss as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Nero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Krzysztof Skrzypczak! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nero fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Skrzypczak shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nero defends it nicely. Nice cross by Nero. Skrzypczak dives in and grabs Nero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nero pushes down on Skrzypczak's head and hops out. Nero throws a sloppy head kick and Skrzypczak moves out of range easily. Nero looks for a takedown but Skrzypczak sprawls well. Nero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skrzypczak circles away quickly and effectively. Nero misses with a head kick.
Nero throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skrzypczak tries to avoid it but Nero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skrzypczak to the ground. Skrzypczak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Nero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Skrzypczak drives through with a takedown into Nero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Nero trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Skrzypczak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Skrzypczak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Skrzypczak prevents Nero from getting back to his feet. Skrzypczak scoring with some ground and pound. Skrzypczak is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Nero keeping full guard, as Skrzypczak tries to pass. Skrzypczak controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Skrzypczak is one step ahead there. Nero is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Skrzypczak stands up over Nero, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skrzypczak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Skrzypczak is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Nero looking to control.
Nero has momentary wrist control but Skrzypczak slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nero controls Skrzypczak momentarily but Skrzypczak frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Skrzypczak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Skrzypczak lands a couple of digs. Skrzypczak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nero on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nero tries to get out of the position. Skrzypczak is looking to work some ground and pound but Nero has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nero wants to control the position but Skrzypczak says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skrzypczak postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Nero in real trouble here! The ref calls for Nero to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
