The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smart misses with a looping right.
Smart throws a poor cross that misses
and Riddell counters with a two punch combo.
Smart swings for the body but Riddell moves out of range.
Riddell misses with a double jab
and Smart connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Chruck Riddell has been cut.
Riddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Riddell slips a straight right by Smart.
Smart cracks Riddell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Riddell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smart finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smart looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Riddell misses with a two punch combination.
Smart works over Riddell's head and body with a nice combination.
Chruck Riddell's cut is getting worse.
Smart lands with a good body shot.
Smart changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Riddell is breathing heavily.

Smart lands a nice shot to the body.
Smart scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Riddell gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Smart gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxwell Smart!
A relieved looking Maxwell Smart thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
