Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Vedhult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vedhult comes into the arena with Six feet under - War is coming blaring out of the sound system. Bach comes into a darkened arena with his song building. care bears countdown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Karl Bach was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Bach! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Vedhult. Vedhult throws a hook but Bach blocks it. Vedhult throws a jab but it's blocked by Bach. Vedhult shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A big left from Bach misses. Vedhult swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bach moves out of range as Vedhult strikes. Bach takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vedhult manages to avoid it. Bach waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Vedhult. Vedhult misses with a looping left. Vedhult slow jab from Bach misses its intended target. Bach takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Vedhult pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bach tries to lock up and control but Vedhult gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Vedhult is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Vedhult stops Bach from standing up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bach is looking to clinch but Vedhult is avoiding it.
Bach throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vedhult sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bach throws a nice looking combination but Vedhult bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vedhult lands with an uppercut that bounces Bach off the cage and back into rage. Vedhult scores a takedown into full mount! Bach gets back to half guard. Vedhult landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vedhult's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vedhult's back! Bach is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bach gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bach gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bach apologises and we restart here on the feet.
A jab lands there for Vedhult. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vedhult looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bach has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vedhult is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bach thows a body shot but no joy. Vedhult shoots for a double leg takedown but Bach sprawls well. He's pushed Vedhult's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vedhult takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bach shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vedhult as he jumps to the side. Vedhult fails to land the takedown. Vedhult moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Karl Bach is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bach lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Vedhult misses with a hook. Vedhult avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kenneth Vedhult will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kenneth Vedhult's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
A right-left combo lands from Bach. Vedhult swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice defenses there by Bach. Bach defending well as Vedhult loads up on a big left hand. Bach throws a shot from downtown. Vedhult moves away and avoids it. Vedhult misses with a hook. Bach ducked under it nicely. Vedhult throws a looping overhand right but Bach ducks down to avoid it. Vedhult shoots for a takedown but Bach saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vedhult doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bach has closed the distance and engaged Vedhult in a clinch.
Vedhult has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bach avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bach lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vedhult backwards. Vedhult is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Vedhult turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vedhult manages to end up in side control. Bach takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bach takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

And that's the end of the fight! Kenneth Vedhult showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vedhult, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
