Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyde Repooc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Nelson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Repooc looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nelson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nelson connects with the punch. Nelson scores with a jab. Repooc fails with the takedown and Nelson counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Repooc shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nelson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Nelson is looking to stand up but Repooc isn't so interested in that idea. Nelson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Repooc trying to control but Nelson is working from the bottom. Repooc drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Repooc jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Repooc trying to control but Nelson is working from the bottom. Nelson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Repooc moves out of range as Nelson strikes. Repooc shoots in for a takedown but Nelson shows good takedown defense. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. That's one minute gone in the round. Repooc shoots and misses and Nelson counters with a left and a right that stings Repooc. Repooc takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nelson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nelson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good standup being displayed there by Nelson as he connects with a hook. Repooc fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nelson thuds his right hand into Repooc's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nelson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kyde Repooc is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nelson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Repooc. Nice straight punches there by Nelson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nelson. Nelson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Repooc tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nelson swivels and escapes. Nelson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Nelson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. No joy there for Nelson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Repooc misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Nice uppercut lands for Nelson. That snapped Repooc's head back.
Repooc defending well as Nelson loads up on a big left hand. Nelson throws a right and a left that both miss. Nelson scores with a nice strike. Nelson lands a body shot.

Nelson throws a combination. Repooc tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Repooc with a poor takedown letting Nelson counter with a right hand. Nelson dips to his left and cracks Repooc with an uppercut! George Nelson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Repooc slips under a jab. Repooc gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Repooc shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nelson but Nelson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nelson lands a nice shot that snaps Repooc's head back.

George Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Nelson lands a left and a right that send Repooc crashing to the mat, dazed. Nelson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nelson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Repooc. Repooc circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Oh Repooc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Repooc shoots in but no luck this time. Repooc seems to have got his legs back now. Nelson throws a right and a left that Repooc avoids nicely. Nelson throws out a loose jab but Repooc uses good head movement to avoid it. Decent striking displayed by Nelson there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson leaves Repooc with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Repooc on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Repooc pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nelson is keeping the position for now. Nelson wants to sweep but no luck. Repooc postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nelson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Repooc, into his guard. Kyde Repooc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nelson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Repooc is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! George Nelson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nelson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
