Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Vedhult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Tetriakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vedhult might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Morbid angel - Pain divine. Tetriakov has chosen Arsonist's Prayer as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ragnar Vedhult! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Tetriakov! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vedhult looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tetriakov is fending him off so far but Vedhult persists. Nope, Tetriakov circles away and we're back to standing. Tetriakov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vedhult avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tetriakov tries to clinch there but Vedhult circles away.
Tetriakov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vedhult. Tetriakov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Vedhult shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tetriakov tries to close the distance and clinch but Vedhult swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tetriakov wants to clinch up but Vedhult keeps it at a distance. Tetriakov tries to clinch up but Vedhult circles away and keeps his distance. Tetriakov tries to clinch but Vedhult moves out of range. Vedhult lunges at Tetriakov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tetriakov's hand. Vedhult throws an overhand right that lands on Tetriakov's shoulder, as Tetriakov tries to avoid the shot. Tetriakov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Vedhult shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tetriakov but Tetriakov pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnar Vedhult. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vedhult throws a hook to the side of Tetriakov's head but Tetriakov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vedhult drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tetriakov wants to get back to his feet but Vedhult is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Vedhult stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tetriakov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tetriakov tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vedhult trying to control the position from guard on top but Tetriakov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tetriakov throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Vedhult is pushing down on Tetriakov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tetriakov is fighting to maintain full guard but Vedhult has managed to sneak the leg through. Tetriakov keeping control of the position. Vedhult is trying to control the action in half guard but Tetriakov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tetriakov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Vedhult wants to pass the guard but Tetriakov is defending well. Vedhult is trying to work for a kimura but Tetriakov is defending well.
Vedhult is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vedhult prevents Tetriakov from standing back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. The fight stays on the outside here - Tetriakov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tetriakov blocks a jab. Tetriakov tries to clinch there but Vedhult circles away.
Tetriakov throws a quick inside leg kick. Tetriakov is looking to clinch. Tetriakov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vedhult paws at him with a jab and circles away. Vedhult darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Tetriakov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vedhult changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tetriakov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tetriakov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vedhult. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tetriakov wants to control but Vedhult postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vedhult tries to move into full mount but can't pass Tetriakov's legs. Tetriakov is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Vedhult goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tetriakov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vedhult but great work by Tetriakov. Vedhult is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Vedhult tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tetriakov presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ragnar Vedhult dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tetriakov tries to close the distance and clinch but Vedhult swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vedhult shoots in looking for a takedown. Tetriakov tries to sprawl out of it but Vedhult keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tetriakov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vedhult changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tetriakov tries to avoid it but Vedhult manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tetriakov to the ground. Tetriakov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Vedhult lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Vedhult drops Tetriakov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tetriakov looks back up at him and smiles so Vedhult waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tetriakov is rocked! Vedhult closes the distance looking for a takedown. Tetriakov stuffs it but Vedhult still has hold of him. Vedhult picks Tetriakov up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Vedhult slams Tetriakov to the floor and that's really hurt Tetriakov - he doesn't know where he is! Vedhult throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ragnar Vedhult!
