Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Thompson, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Thompson against the cage but Thompson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Thompson sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thompson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thompson.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thompson sprawls well. Thompson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.
Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.
Thompson slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thompson lands with an overhand left.
Thompson looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson looks to throw a body kick
and Silva makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva throws a solid leg kick but Thompson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva.
Thompson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Thompson lands with a light punch inside.
Silva has Thompson pressed against the cage, preventing Thompson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Thompson tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thompson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Silva misses with a short punch on the inside.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Thompson working hard to break the clinch.
Thompson has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silva wants to take the fight to the mat but Thompson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thompson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Thompson working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Silva is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Silva is working for takedown but Thompson is calmly controlling the position for now.
A short uppercut from Thompson.
Silva is rocked!
Thompson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Silva with a big uppercut! Silva tries to clinch up but Thompson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Silva to the mat! Silva covers up and Thompson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
