Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lou Decker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Rodrihues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lou Decker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Rodrihues! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rodrihues sprawls well initially but Decker persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Decker sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rodrihues on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Rodrihues wants to get back to full guard. Decker wants to take a breather but Rodrihues is having none of it. Rodrihues trying to control here.
Rodrihues is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Decker is thwarting Rodrihues's attempts to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Decker rushes Rodrihues and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Decker just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rodrihues's brow. Decker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rodrihues.
Rodrihues escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Decker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Decker sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rodrihues's guard. Decker controlling the action here. Rodrihues is trying is best to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodrihues has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Decker is working away from the top position though. Decker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Decker prevents Rodrihues from improving his position. Decker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lou Decker. Rodrihues looks for a takedown but Decker sprawls well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rodrihues fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodrihues gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Decker gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rodrihues is looking for a sweep. Decker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Decker keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Decker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Decker controlling the action here. Rodrihues punching from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Decker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Decker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lou Decker. Decker leaves Rodrihues with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lou Decker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Rodrihues. Rodrihues looks gassed! Decker stuffs the takedown attempt from Rodrihues. Rodrihues gets slowly back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Decker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Decker fails with a takedown attempt. Decker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rodrihues has time to react. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rodrihues clinches up against the cage. Rodrihues is looking to take this one to the mat. Decker feints and as Rodrihues raises his hands in defense, Decker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Decker wants to control from the top but Rodrihues keeps moving. Rodrihues is looking to stand up but Decker isn't so interested in that idea. Rodrihues looking for a sweep. Not yet Rodrihues, not yet. Decker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rodrihues not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We're going to have a standup here because Lou Decker wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Decker gets a takedown into half guard. Decker wants to control but Rodrihues is keeping him busy. Lou Decker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rodrihues defends it well. Rodrihues looking for submissions off his back. Rodrihues is breathing heavily. Rodrihues won't allow Decker to pass to mount. Decker is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodrihues tries to get to full guard but Decker has control of the leg. Decker wants to free his trapped foot but Rodrihues is holding on for dear life with his legs. Decker throwing shots but Rodrihues is blocking nicely. Rodrihues is in trouble now - Decker has advanced to mount! Decker controlling from the full mount. Decker working for a guillotine from mount but Rodrihues is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Decker punishing his opponent with strikes. Rodrihues wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Decker is persistently looking for the submission but Rodrihues is defending it well.
Rodrihues just trying to survive but Decker is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decker throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Decker avoiding Rodrihues 's attempts to control his hands. Decker gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Decker trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Rodrihues is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Rodrihues staying busy and making it hard for Decker to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lou Decker dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Rodrihues shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Decker as he avoids it easily. Rodrihues fails with the takedown. Horrible takedown by Decker or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodrihues which made him look bad. Rodrihues is looking to land body kicks. Rodrihues swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Decker. Decker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rodrihues. Rodrihues tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Decker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Decker throws a right and a left that both miss. Rodrihues displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Decker. Decker dives in and grabs Rodrihues's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodrihues pushes down on Decker's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lou Decker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Decker as Rodrihues shoots in. Rodrihues takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Decker tries to clinch but Rodrihues is having none of it. Decker misses with a takedown attempt - Rodrihues sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Decker tries to clinch up. Lou Decker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rodrihues misses with a double jab.

Decker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rodrihues keeping moving, preventing Decker from controlling successfully. Rodrihues tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Decker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rodrihues works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Decker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rodrihues is pulling down on Decker's head to control his posture. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rodrihues trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Decker wants to stand but Rodrihues is controlling his posture from full guard. Rodrihues trying to control the position.

Erick Rodrihues has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rodrihues stuffs the takedown attempt from Decker. Decker gets slowly back to his feet. Rodrihues tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Decker swivels and escapes. Decker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rodrihues's half guard. Rodrihues trying to control but Decker postures up.
Decker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Decker prevents Rodrihues from improving his position.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rodrihues stuffs the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Decker shoots in for a double leg but Rodrihues sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Erick Rodrihues has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lou Decker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Decker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rodrihues counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Lou Decker showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Decker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
