Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcelinho Garcia! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vieira throws a poor cross that misses
and Garcia counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vieira! Vieira defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Garcia. Garcia is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vieira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vieira shrugs it off. Vieira tries to buck Garcia off but he can't manage it. Garcia jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vieira is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vieira and Garcia has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Garcia is trying to get an arm triangle but Vieira is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Garcia thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marcelinho Garcia wasn't active enough on the ground. Vieira jabbing away but nothing is landing. Oooooh!!! Vieira has knocked Garcia down with a huge combo! Vieira steps away and waves a wobbly Garcia back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Marcelinho Garcia has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vieira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Garcia is still on wobbly legs! Can Vieira finish him? Vieira is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Garcia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vieira. Vieira looks to land a left hand but Garcia moved out of range nicely. Garcia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vieira throws out the jab. Vieira misses with an uppercut. Garcia saw that one coming. Garcia seems to have recovered his senses. Vieira misses with a two punch combination.

Vieira tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Garcia can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garcia bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Vieira rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Garcia wants to finish this one by submission but Vieira is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Garcia. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vieira misses with a right hand and Garcia counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vieira! Garcia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vieira can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Garcia takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garcia goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Vieira is on top in guard.

and Garcia counters with a shoot takedown. Vieira fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Garcia drops back looking for a leg! Vieira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vieira manages to kick Garcia off! Garcia jumps back into Vieira's guard. Garcia is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Vieira is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Vieira has escaped and now he's on top!
And that's the end of the fight! Marcelinho Garcia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Garcia winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
