Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jett Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikki Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeda is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: You're Going Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jett Padilla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ikki Takeda! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeda throws a quick inside leg kick. Takeda misses with a jab, cross combination.
A big left from Takeda misses. Takeda moves out of range as Padilla throws a body kick.
Padilla takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Jett Padilla has been cut. Takeda throws a shot from downtown. Padilla moves away and avoids it. Takeda looks to land a right hand but Padilla moved out of range. Padilla tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takeda paws at him with a jab and circles away. Padilla moves to clinch but Takeda breaks away and Takeda counters with a two punch combo. Takeda lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Takeda circles away from the clinch attempt and Padilla takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Padilla throws a leg kick and Takeda counters with a lovely shot to the body. Padilla tries to clinch and Takeda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Padilla wants to clinch and Takeda counters by moving into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice glancing elbow lands by Takeda. Padilla looking to throw knees to the head but Takeda is blocking nicely.
Takeda lands an elbow just above Padilla 's eye. Padilla tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Padilla jumps guard but Takeda stands there with Padilla around his waist. Padilla gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Takeda works on Padilla's body with a couple of short punches. Padilla pulls Takeda into guard.
Takeda working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Padilla looking for subs off his back but Takeda has passed one foot through into half guard.
Padilla misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Padilla is breathing heavily. Takeda is nestled in close to Padilla, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Takeda is trying to work for a kimura but Padilla is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Takeda looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Takeda is looking for a kimura here.
Takeda stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Padilla takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Padilla looks to clinch and Takeda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Padilla gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Padilla on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Takeda. Takeda obviously looking to wear him down.
Takeda takes a swing at Padilla's ribcage but misses. Takeda fails to land with a series of punches.
Padilla fails in his attempt to clinch. Takeda stuns Padilla with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Takeda throws out a powerful jab. Padilla fails in his attempt to clinch. Takeda misses with an uppercut. Padilla saw that one coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Padilla tries to close the distance and clinch but Takeda swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takeda looks to land a combination but Padilla avoids it well. Padilla wants to clinch but Takeda slips to the side and Takeda counters with a nice body kick.
Padilla tries to clinch and Takeda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Takeda wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Takeda connects with a right hand. Padilla shakes it off.
Padilla is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Takeda engages and cracks Padilla with a massive lead left hook - Padilla tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Takeda is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ikki Takeda! After the fight, Ikki Takeda was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
