Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Breda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Hughes told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mauro Breda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Hughes! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Breda misses the target. Hughes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Breda is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breda is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hughes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Breda is trying to maintain the position but Hughes is very close to passing his half guard. Hughes prevents Breda from improving his position. Breda wants to get back to full guard but Hughes has passed into side control. Hughes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes scores with a couple of short elbows. Hughes throwing shots but missing, from side control. Breda manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hughes regains full guard. Nicely done. Breda looking to pass the guard. Breda trying to control but Hughes is working from the bottom. Breda is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hughes is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Breda not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hughes wants to stand but Breda is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hughes blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Breda misses with an elbow strike.
Hughes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hughes throws a chopping leg kick but Breda manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hughes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Breda not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Breda keeping moving, preventing Hughes from controlling successfully. Breda has his feet on Hughes's thighs here. He's pushed Hughes off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hughes screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
