Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simija Nomurokai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayato Warmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warmaster has chosen Final hour by LAMB OF GOD as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hayato Warmaster was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simija Nomurokai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayato Warmaster!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warmaster chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nomurokai can pounce on him.
Hayato Warmaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warmaster shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nomurokai tries to clinch up but Warmaster circles away and keeps his distance.
Nomurokai stuffs the takedown.
Nomurokai tries a head kick but it misses.

Warmaster scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nomurokai tries to reverse the position but Warmaster maintains control.

Warmaster working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Nomurokai keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Nomurokai is working hard here to advance position.

Warmaster is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nomurokai to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nomurokai shrugs it off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nomurokai wants to control but Warmaster is having none of it.
Nomurokai sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Nomurokai is in trouble now - Warmaster has advanced to mount!

Nomurokai bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Warmaster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nomurokai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nomurokai wants to control from the top but Warmaster keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nomurokai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warmaster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nomurokai trying to control but Warmaster is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Warmaster is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nomurokai rolls with it to try and escape but Warmaster cranks on the arm and Nomurokai is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hayato Warmaster!
During a confident post fight interview, Hayato Warmaster thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
