Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Boscariol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Faber is trying to get an arm triangle but Boscariol is defending well.
Faber goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Boscariol has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Faber but great work by Boscariol.
Faber is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Faber is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Boscariol tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Faber manages to work his way to half guard, despite Boscariol's best efforts.

Faber rushes Boscariol and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Faber jumps guard but Boscariol stands there with Faber around his waist. Faber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Boscariol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Faber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boscariol has managed to get both his arms back between Faber's legs - danger averted.

Boscariol has hold of Faber's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Faber manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Boscariol is trying to stick to Faber's back but Faber is turning into Boscariol. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Boscariol's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Faber.
Faber drops back looking for a leg! Boscariol is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boscariol manages to kick Faber off! Faber jumps back into Boscariol's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Faber has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Boscariol should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Faber has tightened it up now! Boscariol should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
