The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honky Tonkin misses with the combination.
Wilbon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wilbon misses with a looping left.
Honky Tonkin misses with a head kick.
Honky Tonkin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Hank Honky Tonkin has been cut.
Honky Tonkin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wilbon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Honky Tonkin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wilbon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wilbon waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Honky Tonkin.
Honky Tonkin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Honky Tonkin looks gassed!
Wilbon lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Honky Tonkin falls backwards - clearly groggy! Wilbon dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Wilbon!
