Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caschera is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Jane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
21 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Caschera!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caschera takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Caschera.
Jane throws a leg kick
and Caschera counters with a stiff right hand.
John Jane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caschera moves in looking to clinch but Jane pushes him off.
Caschera ducks right into an uppercut from Jane.
It looks like Max Caschera has been cut.
Jane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jane counters with a nice low kick that buckles Caschera's knee momentarily.
Jane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Caschera can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jane is looking to slow Caschera down with leg kicks.
Caschera drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
John Jane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Caschera shoots in for a takedown but Jane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Caschera on the side of the head.
Jane thuds his right hand into Caschera's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Caschera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jane - the referee stops the clock and Caschera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jane. Caschera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A good leg kick by Jane.
Caschera fails with a takedown attempt.
John Jane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Caschera.
Jane lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Jane does it's job there.
Jane lands an overhand right.
Caschera walks into a straight right hand from Jane.
Jane sizes up Caschera with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That has opened up Max Caschera's cut even more.
Caschera doesn't manage to clinch there - Jane circles away.
A combination from Caschera does no damage.
Caschera misses with a right hand
and Jane counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd cheers as Jane lands an impressive looking overhand right. Caschera doesn't seem phased though.
The cut above Max Caschera's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Caschera takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Caschera keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Jane scores with a jab to the head.
Jane with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jane is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Jane scoring well with a low kick there.
Jane lands with a kick to the ribs.
Jane is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Caschera looks gassed!
Caschera wants to clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jane.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jane lands a nice looking body shot.
Caschera wants to clinch but Jane slips to the side
and Jane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Max Caschera's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Jane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Max Caschera's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Jane!
