Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Harrison drives through with a takedown into Da Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Harrison postures up in Da Silva's guard and throws a big left but Da Silva blocks it.
Harrison wants to control from the top but Da Silva keeps moving.

Harrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Da Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

Harrison has control of Da Silva's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Da Silva regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harrison shoots in and drives through. Da Silva sprawls well.
Da Silva feints and then cracks Harrison's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harrison down.
Da Silva connects with a high kick.
Da Silva moves in looking to clinch but Harrison pushes him off.
Da Silva lands a lovely overhand right.

Harrison throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Da Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Harrison finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Harrison passes Da Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Harrison content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
William Harrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Harrison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Harrison is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Harrison seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Da Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Harrison is looking for a kimura but Da Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harrison to get the leverage.
Harrison wants to free his trapped foot but Da Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Harrison seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Harrison passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Da Silva!

Da Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Harrison.

Da Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Harrison, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Da Silva sprawls well. Da Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harrison gets slowly back to his feet.

Harrison manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Da Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Da Silva's guard now, I'm sure.

and Da Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Da Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Harrison dives in and grabs Da Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Da Silva pushes down on Harrison's head and hops out.

and Da Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Da Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Harrison doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Da Silva counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Da Silva counters with a slapping leg kick.
David Da Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nice sprawl there from Da Silva as Harrison shoots in.
Harrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Da Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Harrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Da Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harrison stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Da Silva.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Da Silva, right into the meat.
Da Silva leaves Harrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Da Silva closes the distance and pushes Harrison back into the cage.

Da Silva tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Harrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Da Silva smiles and moves away.

Harrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Da Silva.

William Harrison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Da Silva lands with a right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harrison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da Silva pinned against the cage. Da Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

David Da Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harrison has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
