Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylar Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies/Drowning pool. Gray is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Saving me. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie walks into a jab.
It looks like Kirk Gracie has been cut.
Gray bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gray sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Gracie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gray thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gray is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gray can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
