The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halliday looks to throw the jab but Sagoth is out of range.
Horrible takedown by Halliday or perhaps it was just good defense by Sagoth which made him look bad.

Halliday feints and as Sagoth raises his hands in defense, Halliday changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Sagoth is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sagoth takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sagoth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Halliday can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Halliday, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
