Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lex Wight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Channell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wight gets a clinch.
Wight gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Wight - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Channell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Channell wants to stall.
Wight really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Channell creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Still in the clinch, Wight scores with a nice short uppercut.

Channell distracts Wight with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Wight tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Channell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Channell closes the distance and clinches up with Wight, looking for a takedown. Channell pushes Wight against the cage but Wight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Channell throws a shot from downtown. Wight moves away and avoids it.
A left and a right from Wight both land. Nice combination.
Wight throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wight tries to close the distance and clinch but Channell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Channell throws a series of punches but Wight moves out of range.

Wight fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Channell, pushing him back against the cage.
Channell misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wight lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wight lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Channell struggles to land a body shot inside as Wight controls his hands.
Channell takes an elbow to the forehead.
Channell tries to pull guard but Wight forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Channell misses with a punch to the body.

Wight gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Channell.
Channell is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wight pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Wight gets through Channell's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Wight stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Wight unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Channell misses with a body punch.
Wight lands an elbow that stopped Channell in his tracks for a moment.
Wight comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Channell is looking to control Wight's arms but Wight gets an underhook and turns him. Now Channell has his back to the cage.

Channell manages to pull guard.

Wight stands and steps away. Channell gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Wight lands a left and a right that send Channell crashing to the mat, dazed. Wight thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Channell is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wight connects with a nice cross there... Channell is looking wobbly and Wight recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Channell to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Wight jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
